Company History

KGC Engineering was formed in October 2011 by Kevin Colley an award winning heritage transport restorer. The company has steadily grown from its humble beginnings in its small workshop to what you can see now. Where the company has moved and developed into a new larger workshop space allowing better facilities to house the long term restorations that are the backbone and success of the business, it is hoped that the company will continue to expand and develop, this will include taking on staff to enable more restoration projects to be undertaken.

KGC Engineering uses a number of social media outlets to promote its work, these include Facebook, Twitter and Youtube.

In March 2017 KGC Engineering was awarded Which? Trusted Trader status from the consumer group Which?

Additionally the company is fortunate to have won a small number of other business awards, most prominently the #SBS (Small Business Sunday) award which is run by Theo Paphitis of Dragons Den fame.

Other awards Include:

The Transport Trusts Young Preservationist of the Year 2010. The award was presented by HRH Prince Michael of Kent.
