Its been a busy few weeks in the workshop once again, with lots of really good progress being made on my two main projects the 1967 MGBGT and the 1972 MGBGT.
1967 MGB-GT – Work has progressed really well on this car with the new RH sill sections all but finished, theres still a few welding repairs and finishing off jobs to do, but it is hoped to have this done ready for September.
1972 MGB-GT – whilst the 1967 MGBGT is on the rotator i have focused on rebuilding the two suspension subframe units for this car, and am pleased to say that the rear unit is complete appart from the brake lines and the front unit is also nearly completed, only requiring the fitting of the steering rack.
I must appologise to say that there isnt much to report in the way of new projects or bigger progress on the projects, such is the nature of classic car restoration, some weeks it can feel that no progress is made but acctually lots is. In addition to this I do have some very exciting news coming in the next Blog post.
