Manchster Classic Car Show Success
Over the weekend of the 16th -17th September I once again attended the Manchester Classic Car Show to promote the business and its new workshop. Despite it being quieter on the Saturday, the Sunday was very busy with plenty of enquiries for various jobs, from a service for a MG Midget to a restoration of a Jaguar E type. I was lucky enough to be able to borrow the 1980 MGB Roadster for the stand display and many thanks to the owner for allowing this to happen.
If you have liked the business page over on Facebook, then you will have noticed that I went “Live” a number of times over the weekend. In addition to this i also gave a talk about Classic Car Restoration in the “live lounge” on Sunday afternoon. If you have never been to this show before its well worth while with best part of 1000, different classic cars from all sizes ages, and marques.
As you are aware during September I have been moving the business into its new workshop at Goyt Mill in Marple. I’m pleased to say that the move is progressing very well and i should be up and running fully again in October. I have already restarted some work on a couple of projects, inbetween un-packing and sorting things out, I have been able to define certain areas within the workshop space for welding, servicing etc.
Happy Classic Motoring
